Job Brief

The ideal candidate is an industry professional who works closely with stakeholders to identify goals, develop best practices, and analyze current processes to determine what can be improved to achieve their desired outcome. At GLCS you will work with some of the most complex Transportation and Logistics organizations in the country.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all projects

  • Conducts analysis, research, and data collection from a variety of sources as an inform into business decisions

  • Prepares business proposals and presentations

  • Directly contribute to client projects by analyzing current systems and processes and making recommendations for improvements

  • Uses data and metrics, both internal and external (market) to make decisions

  • Works closely with the consulting project teams to help them meet all proposed project performance expectations

  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders to deliver the best solution for the client

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience

  • Knowledge of Transportation and Logistics, Technology and Project Management.

  • Transportation Management System Experience

  • Business Analyst experience

  • Knowledge of supply chain and operations, manufacturing, logistics, lean, project management, marketing, and strategy

  • Advanced working knowledge of Flowcharts, Whiteboarding, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Very motivated to achieve goals

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent organizational & leadership skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Team orientation, flexible and fast learner

  • Travel
