GLCS's Channel builds a direct connection between your Mobilecomm’s (i.e. Samsara or Platform Science) API and your TMS.
Our speed and highly customizable workflows. Because of the direct interfacing and resource threading, the GLCS Channel processing time between the systems is measured in seconds. For example: when a TMWSuite user requests a trip to be sent to Samsara as a route, the route usually presents in Samsara applications in under 10 seconds. Based on different clients requiring different workflows, the Channel solution is very customizable to meet each client’s requirements.
The process of integrating the Channel solution takes the same time and resources regardless of integrating a carrier with 5 trucks or 500 trucks. Because the Channel solution is not a tangible product like the Samsara units, we do not offer a trial. However, we can provide references from other clients that we have integrated so that you may reach out to them to get some feedback.
The pricing structure involves an upfront implementation fee followed by monthly charges. Additionally, there are optional features available, all billed on a per-unit basis.
After signing with GLCS, we typically have a 2-4-week lead time to start implementation of the GLCS Channel.
This solely depends on the client's ability to work hand in hand with our integration team and provide the info we need to make the integration go as smooth as possible. It will also depend on the client's ability to get their units installed and get their drivers trained. We can have clients up and running with their initial units under Alpha testing units in 3-5 days in many instances.
GLCS has a staff of highly experienced employees who understand all aspects of the trucking and logistics industry. What separates us from our competitors is that we can tackle most operational issues and assist our clients with complex technical problems. There are very few companies in the marketplace that provide this value. For this reason, we feel strongly that our solution is superior to other solutions currently available.
GLCS provides the carrier with a Statement of Work (SOW) and Master Service Agreement (MSA). They are signed and countersigned by both parties, and then GLCS will send an invoice to the client. Upon receipt of the client's payment for the initial installation, the Project Management Office (PMO) at GLCS will contact the client to schedule a kickoff call with the GLCS implementation team. The GLCS implementation team will usually schedule ongoing calls with the client contacts to work through all the setup.
Typically, the integrations are done in three phases.
